SolidRock Climbing Gyms are welcoming and family friendly. In addition to the great expert terrain that we have to climb, we make sure that a full spectrum of friends and family will find fun and success on our walls.

Our experienced staff train you in a hands-on manner with our safe, easy to use equipment. Our time-tested methods use no mind bending knots nor require any time wasting lectures. The outfitting is simple, the training direct and complete, and the climbing is the best at SolidRock!

Our climbing structures and surfaces are hand fashioned from natural and renewable materials with the many great Arizona climbing places in mind. Hand painted murals and water streaked walls evoke the awesome outdoors that the West and the Great State of Arizona have to offer.

Our wonderful climbing walls are textured with a secret mix of materials that make them look and feel like the real thing. Much more realistic than painted or stuccoed plywood and more resilient than flexing fiberglass, our walls are built to transform your indoor outing into something more than just another "gym" experience.

Our facilities provide clean, stable, and open walkways so that all of the family and friends can be near and involved with the activity. Strollers, wheelchairs, and those needing a clear and firm path are welcome and encouraged at SolidRock.

For the climbers, our truly unique climbing area flooring is designed to enhance and round out the nature influenced atmosphere that we have to offer. It just emphasizes how much we love rocks and most things associated with them . . . especially climbing them! (and yes, those are Arizona flags on those socks!)

And, while we discourage the practice for obvious reasons, we hear (and see) that some of our customers often take it upon themselves to liberate some of our flooring to the out of doors. We suppose that in some altruistic way that this is somewhat fitting . . . for a rock that is!

Our climbing holds are chosen from some of the best and most well known manufacturers and are picked for form and function.

We choose them carefully and place them (or "set" the routes) so as to provide a true spectrum of climbing from the Friendly™ to downright Ferocious™. So please feel free to offer up your own thoughts and ideas and we'll probably give you the opportunity to create your own climbing puzzles for your friends to solve.
